Yron Mess

Yron Mess

is a multidisciplinary collective dedicated to exploring the hidden contours of the human mind through experimental soundscapes and embodied performance.

Founded by composer & sound artist Runar Magnusson and performer, actress & dancer Yvonne Brandstetter, they fuse dance, amplified objects and movement, electronic sound experiments and theatrical gesture to create immersive experiences that probe the edges of consciousness.

Their work centers on themes that are often left unspoken: neurodiversity, psychological disturbance, obsessive patterns, the shadow side of the psyche, and the coping mechanisms that arise from them. By confronting radical emotions and irrational fear, inner emptiness, impulsivness and the urge for danger — yet yearning for connection, they invite audiences to inhabit uncomfortable spaces, encouraging reflection and dialogue rather than passive consumption.

Through site‑specific installations, live concerts, videos and experimental performances, Yron Mess creates a laboratory of sensation where sound and body become investigative tools. The projects aim to destabilise habitual perception, prompting participants to rethink how they relate to themselves, to others, and to the societal structures that shape our mental landscapes.

Follow us as we navigate the no-mans land on the border of sanity,
seeking new pathways toward empathy, understanding, and collective healing.
